  When your demister coating is prepared, it is the time to apply it on the glass. Workers spray the coating on with just enough of a coating on the glass to make sure it will work properly. The glass is then heated in an oven to bond the coating. Quality control workers inspect every demister to ensure its functioning before packing it for shipment to customers.

  Demister technology forms a thin layer on the glass which prevents water droplets from adhering to it. When water hits the demister it spreads rather than forming drops. This allows you to see right through the glass. The coating is composed of special chemicals which prevents water from distorting your vision.
